Launch of the 2019 EIP on AHA Call for Twinnings Support Scheme
A call for proposals has been published as part of the Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIPAHA) to promote twinning actions. These actions are based on the organization of seminaries to promote the adoption of large-scale initiatives aimed at supporting the digitalization of health, in particular of elderly persons.
The core aim of these events is to promote the transfer of innovation.
The organization of seminars can be promoted from regional stakeholders which have been awarded as a Reference Site and are involved in the activities of European Partnership.
Participating organisations can claim up to € 5,000 in financial support for each twinning action. This will cover the travel and accommodation of experts from adopting organisations to originator organisations or vice-versa.
The deadline for the call is the 15th June 2019.
Funding will be awarded by 15th July 2019, one month after submissions are received. Activities must start between 1 September 2019 and 31 December 2019.
Twinning activities are part of the scaling-up strategy of the EIPAHA. To get an overview of the twinning activities organized during the past please consult the report “Scale AHA study”.
On the EIPAHA’s website can be found the call for proposals, in which, on page 6, are provided some examples of digital initiatives in support of elders, of whom replicability could be verified through Twinning seminars.
